Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins

Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2007 Structure Deck: Legend of the Crystal Beasts. The card was designed to function as the signature Field Spell for the Crystal Beast archetype, a theme centered on monsters that move to the Spell & Trap Zone when destroyed. Its mechanics were intentionally crafted to reward players for filling their backrow, offering a scaling set of defensive and utility effects that reflect the mythological themes of the Crystal Beast monsters.
