Angel Trumpeter

Angel Trumpeter was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a common normal monster in the 2017 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. This reprint set was designed to consolidate key cards from the previous year's major expansions, specifically drawing from sets like Shining Victories and The Dark Illusion. As a Level 4 Tuner monster with the Earth attribute and Plant type, it was curated to provide players with a versatile tool for Synchro Summoning strategies, particularly within decks that benefit from the Plant-type support ecosystem.

The card features an ethereal, avian-inspired design that aligns with the visual motifs common to the Plant-type archetype in the game. While the artwork serves primarily as a aesthetic component of the game's broader mythological lore, it was received by the competitive community as a functional utility piece rather than a collector's item. Its inclusion in the 2017 Mega-Tin was a strategic move by the publishers to ensure accessibility for players looking to strengthen their extra decks without needing to hunt for rare original printings.
