Archfiend Soldier

Archfiend Soldier was originally introduced in the early years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, serving as a representative of the Archfiend archetype. It was designed as a level four normal monster, offering a high attack stat for its level at the cost of having no additional card effects. The artwork reflects the dark, aggressive aesthetic characteristic of the Archfiend monsters, illustrating a demonic warrior clad in skeletal armor.

The version from Battle Pack: Epic Dawn, numbered BP01-EN112, was released as a common card to provide players with accessible, high-attack utility during the set's unique draft-style play format. By including staples like this in the Battle Pack, Konami aimed to balance the draft environment, allowing players to utilize efficient monsters that could pressure opponents without relying on complex combos or rare, powerful effect cards.
