Armed Dragon LV7

Armed Dragon LV7 was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 'Dark Revelation Volume 3' booster set, released in the mid-2000s. The card is a central piece of the Armed Dragon archetype, a sequence of monsters designed by Konami to showcase the game's evolving 'level-up' mechanics, where lower-tier monsters were sacrificed to summon increasingly powerful iterations of the same dragon. This particular card was intended as a high-impact boss monster, capable of clearing an opponent's field by discarding cards, reflecting the strategic emphasis on resource management prevalent in that era of the game.

The artwork for the Armed Dragon series is characterized by its sharp, aggressive aesthetic, consistent with the high-fantasy dragon motifs that define much of the franchise's visual identity. As an Ultra Rare pull from the Dark Revelation set—a compilation series designed to reprint popular cards from previous expansions—Armed Dragon LV7 became a sought-after staple for players building dragon-themed decks. It remains a nostalgic touchstone for collectors, representing the transition period in the game when complex, multi-stage summoning requirements became a core feature of competitive play.
