Ars Magna the Finite and the Infinite

Ars Magna the Finite and the Infinite, cataloged as BETB-EN018, was released within the Beyond the Brave expansion set. As a Starlight Rare, this card represents the pinnacle of the set's print technology, utilizing a unique prismatic holofoil pattern that covers the entire surface of the card. It emerged during a period where collectible card games increasingly emphasized premium, low-drop-rate chase cards to appeal to both high-end competitive players and serious archivists.

The design of the card leans into celestial and abstract motifs, characterized by intricate line work and a color palette that suggests cosmic depth. While the specific illustrator is frequently obscured by the publisher's in-house studio credits, the aesthetic direction aimed to evoke a sense of metaphysical weight, reflecting the card's theme of mathematical and existential boundaries. Upon release, it was received as a centerpiece for collectors, primarily valued for its scarcity and the distinct visual texture inherent to the Starlight Rare classification.
