Assault Armor

Assault Armor was released as part of the Duel Terminal 4 expansion, which arrived in North American markets to support the unique Duel Terminal arcade cabinet system. This set was designed to integrate physical cards with digital gameplay, introducing various archetypes and support cards that emphasized the machine-based themes prevalent in the Duel Terminal lore.

The card features an illustration depicting mechanical enhancement gear, consistent with the technological aesthetic favored by the Iron Chain and Genex archetypes of that era. Designed as an Equip Spell, it functions by granting an equipped monster additional attacks at the cost of its own attack phase, a tactical design choice that reflects the high-risk, high-reward mechanics typical of the game's competitive environment during the late 2000s.
