Bacon Saver

Bacon Saver was originally introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants set, released in 2013. Designed specifically for draft-style play, the set focused on high-impact monsters and simplified mechanics to create a distinct competitive environment. The card represents a departure from traditional monster design, featuring a humorous, anthropomorphic piece of bacon equipped with protective gear, reflecting the eccentric aesthetic choices often found in the game's non-archetypal filler cards.

The card features an effect that allows players to banish it from the graveyard to negate an attack, a utility-focused design aimed at providing defensive versatility in a format centered on aggressive play. While the creature's design is lighthearted and unusual, it has been recognized by players for its practical tactical application in various deck strategies. It remains a notable example of how common-rarity cards in specialized booster sets can offer surprising longevity and strategic value for players.
