Battle Teleportation

Battle Teleportation was released in 2009 as part of the Ancient Prophecy booster set, the twenty-eighth main release in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The set arrived during the 5D's era of the game, a period marked by the introduction of Synchro Monsters and a shift toward faster, more aggressive gameplay. This particular card was designed to support the Blackwing archetype, a series of Dark-attribute, Winged Beast-type monsters that became one of the most prominent and competitive themes of that generation.

The card’s design reflects the strategic utility common to the era, offering a way for players to protect their monsters while simultaneously triggering specific card effects upon re-entry. It was illustrated with the thematic aesthetic consistent with the Blackwing's sleek, bird-like silhouettes. While it did not reach the status of staple status seen by other cards in the same set, it serves as a piece of history for players who engaged with the fast-paced, high-synergy meta of the late 2000s.
