Blustering Winds

Blustering Winds was released as part of the Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants set in 2013. The set was specifically designed by Konami to emulate a draft-style limited play environment, prioritizing cards that functioned well in a sealed format rather than adhering to the high-speed competitive meta of the time. The card itself functions as a permanent stat-altering spell, reflecting the set's thematic focus on large-scale monster confrontations and physical board dominance.

The card features an illustration consistent with the art style of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, utilizing high-contrast, dynamic imagery to depict the shifting elemental forces described in its effect. As a common rarity card within the Battle Pack series, it was intended as a functional utility piece for players navigating the restricted card pool of the tournament format. It remains a recognizable part of the War of the Giants expansion, known primarily for its integration into the simplified, combat-heavy gameplay loop central to that specific product cycle.
