Brigrand the Glory Dragon

Brigrand the Glory Dragon was introduced in the Phantom Rage booster set, released in late 2020 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set served as a major expansion for the Dogmatika and Tri-Brigade archetypes, integrating complex lore that depicted a sprawling conflict within the game's established narrative universe. As a fusion monster, the card was designed to support the mechanical synergies of these archetypes, offering utility through its ability to search for monsters upon being sent to the graveyard.

The artwork for the card features the distinct stylistic hallmarks of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card design team, which emphasizes high-fantasy aesthetics and dynamic creature poses. Like other ultra-rare cards in the Phantom Rage series, it utilizes a glossy, holographic foil treatment that distinguishes it from common and rare counterparts. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its efficiency in deck thinning and strategic versatility, cementing its role as a functional asset in the meta-game of that period.
