Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Boar

Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Boar was originally introduced as a secret rare in the 2013 Cosmo Blazer booster set before being reprinted as a rare in the 2014 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. It is part of the Fire Fist archetype, a group of Beast-Warrior monsters themed after the Chinese classic novel Water Margin. These cards were designed to function through the continuous spell and trap cards known as Fire Formations, which provide buffs and utility to the monsters on the field.

The card features an illustration of a warrior infused with the spirit of a boar, consistent with the martial arts aesthetic applied to the Fire Fist series. Gameplay-wise, it was developed as a tuner monster to facilitate Synchro Summoning within the Fire Fist engine, allowing players to access higher-level monsters by leveraging its ability to special summon Fire Fist monsters from the deck. It was well-regarded by competitive players for its role in increasing the deck's speed and consistency during the era in which it was released.
