Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves

Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves was released in the 2020 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set Secret Slayers. This collection was designed to introduce and support several specific archetypes, including the Rikka theme, which draws its visual inspiration from the seasons and floral motifs. The card was created to serve as a high-level centerpiece for plant-based decks, reflecting the game's ongoing interest in synergy between monster types and environmental aesthetics.

The design of the card leans heavily into Japanese seasonal imagery, personifying the falling maple leaves associated with autumn. In the context of the game's mechanics, it was intended to provide control by restricting the opponent's attacks, a tactical choice that defines its role as a defensive wall. While it is a staple for players focused on plant archetypes, it remains a thematic representation of the transition into winter, fitting neatly into the botanical aesthetic established by the Rikka cards.
