Chocolate Magician Girl

Chocolate Magician Girl was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game as part of the 2016 The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack. This set was designed to celebrate the release of the film, which brought original series creator Kazuki Takahashi back to oversee the story and character designs. The card itself was created to expand the Magician Girl archetype, providing players with powerful graveyard interaction and card draw capabilities that reflected the strategic, magic-based playstyle associated with the character of Tea Gardner from the anime.

The card's design features the signature aesthetic of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, blending high-fantasy character illustration with the intricate card layout used in the physical game. As a Gold Secret Rare, the card was produced with a distinct, shimmering foil finish that became a hallmark of the Movie Pack releases. Upon its release, it was well-received by both casual players and competitive collectors for its utility in spellcaster-themed decks and its detailed, vibrant artwork, solidifying its place as a quintessential piece of modern Yu-Gi-Oh! history.
