Provenance

Where it came from

Comic Hand was originally released in the 2014 set Dragons of Legend, later reappearing as an Ultra Rare in the 2021 Dragons of Legend: The Complete Series. It was designed to support the Toon archetype, drawing inspiration from the playful, cartoonish aesthetic featured in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime series where Pegasus utilized his unique Toon World deck.

The card functions as a specialized version of the classic Change of Heart spell, reimagined through the lens of Toon mechanics. By turning a target monster into a Toon, it allows players to steal their opponent's cards while adhering to the thematic constraints of the Toon engine. It is recognized for its distinctive artwork that captures the whimsical yet strategic nature of the Toon sub-type.
