Cubic Rebirth

Cubic Rebirth was released in 2016 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack, a special expansion set tied to the theatrical release of the film of the same name. The card is designed to support the 'Cubic' archetype, a thematic deck centered on the film's antagonist, Aigami. The design mirrors the film's narrative focus on the Cubic monsters, which are depicted as multi-dimensional geometric entities capable of manipulating reality and inhibiting opponents through counter-play mechanics.

The card features an illustration consistent with the series' high-fantasy aesthetic, emphasizing the sharp, jagged geometries synonymous with the Cubic monsters. Within the context of the game, it functions as a trap card that forces an opponent to Special Summon a monster from their graveyard, effectively setting up the board for a tactical redirection of power. It is recognized by collectors primarily for its ties to the film's climactic duels and its status as an Ultra Rare, which gave it a distinctive glossy finish compared to common variants.
