Cubic Rebirth

Cubic Rebirth was released in 2016 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack, a set designed to tie into the theatrical release of the film of the same name. The set introduced a variety of cards centered around the Cubic archetype, which served as the primary strategy for the film's antagonist, Aigami. These cards were intended to translate the cinematic intensity of the movie's duels into the physical trading card game, utilizing the Secret Rare rarity to emphasize the high-stakes, supernatural nature of the Cubic monsters.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic shift towards specialized, lore-heavy archetypes that characterized the modern era of the game. Illustrated to convey the mechanical and otherworldly themes of the Cubic series, the card functions as a trap designed to facilitate board recovery and synergy between the player's monsters and the graveyard. The set was generally well-received by fans of the franchise for its thematic cohesion and for providing players with the specific tools needed to build a functional Cubic deck, marking a significant entry in the expanded history of Yu-Gi-Oh! film tie-in products.
