Curse Reflection Doll

Curse Reflection Doll was released in the 2022 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge, a compilation set designed to import cards previously exclusive to the Japanese OCG. This specific card represents a niche archetype of utility spell cards, designed to provide reactive defense during battle phases. It reflects the game's ongoing mechanical evolution where developers introduced intricate trap-like spell effects to counter aggressive meta-strategies.

The card’s illustration features the distinct aesthetic typical of modern Yu-Gi-Oh! design, focusing on eerie, doll-like motifs that emphasize the game's dark fantasy lore. Like many Ultra Rare inclusions in this set, it was manufactured with a glossy, holographic foil treatment intended to heighten its visual appeal for collectors. Upon its release, it was noted primarily for its thematic consistency with older, macabre-themed sets while remaining a functional piece of cardboard strategy for casual players.
