D - Time

D - Time was released in the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game expansion set Enemy of Justice. As a trap card from the mid-2000s era of the game, it was designed to introduce tactical defensive utility, specifically interacting with the 'Destiny HERO' archetype introduced in the GX generation of the series. The card mechanics reflect the high-stakes, flip-of-the-coin nature often associated with the game's risk-reward style of play during that period.

The artwork and conceptual design align with the thematic aesthetic of the Destiny HERO series, which draws heavy inspiration from classic comic book anti-heroes and dark, brooding visual motifs. While not a competitive staple upon its release, the card is frequently noted by collectors for its distinct, edgy illustration and its role in expanding the narrative breadth of the GX-era card pool. Its rarity designation as a Rare within the set reflects its common status among players of the time who sought to complete their collection of early archetype-specific support.
