Danipon

Danipon was released in the North American print of the Order of Chaos booster set, which debuted in early 2012. As an effect monster within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, it belongs to the Earth-attribute Insect-type family, reflecting the set's focus on introducing new synergies for established creature types. It was designed to function within specific insect-themed deck archetypes, offering players a tool to search for smaller monsters upon its destruction.

The card's design follows the established aesthetic of the Order of Chaos expansion, which introduced the Inzektor archetype and various support cards for existing themes. Illustrators for the game generally utilize a high-fantasy, mechanical-organic hybrid style intended to create a cohesive look across the set. While Danipon is considered a common-rarity utility card rather than a centerpiece of competitive play, its release helped round out the depth of the insect monster pool for players interested in niche strategic builds.
