Dark Armed Dragon

Dark Armed Dragon was originally released in the 2008 Phantom Darkness set, where it quickly defined the competitive landscape of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Its design introduced a powerful form of graveyard manipulation, allowing players to summon the monster by banishing exactly three Dark-attribute monsters, which enabled rapid, high-impact plays that dominated tournament scenes for years. The card became a centerpiece of the 'Tele-DAD' deck archetype, which remains one of the most iconic and influential builds in the history of the game.

The Ultimate Rare version released in Turbo Pack: Booster Six (TU06-EN000) served as a high-end, limited-distribution variant. Turbo Packs were distributed primarily through official tournament stores to incentivize organized play rather than traditional retail sales, making this specific version a rare chase item among competitive players. Its textured foil design was crafted to showcase the game's intricate artwork, appealing to collectors who favored the tactile and visual distinction of the Ultimate Rare finish.
