Dark Mirror Force

Dark Mirror Force was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2005 as part of the Dark Revelation Volume 2 expansion set. The set was designed as a reprint collection, aiming to make previously released cards from the Pharaonic Guardian and Magician's Force sets more accessible to the general player base. As a Super Rare card, the design features a distinct holofoil finish that became a hallmark of high-tier trap cards during that era of the game.

The card itself serves as a tactical variant of the original Mirror Force, a cornerstone of Yu-Gi-Oh! strategy since the game's inception. While the original Mirror Force destroyed all Attack Position monsters, Dark Mirror Force added a specialized condition that removed them from play, reflecting the game's shift toward more potent removal effects. The artwork maintains the dark, ominous aesthetic of the 'Mirror Force' line, utilizing a high-contrast palette that has made the design an iconic piece of the franchise's visual history.
