Where it came from
Dimension Dice was released in the 2022 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game set Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge. This supplemental booster set was curated to provide support for various archetypes, specifically focusing on the legacy of the GX-era Crystal Beast monsters and related support cards. The release served to modernize older strategies, offering players access to specialized cards that were previously unavailable or required thematic updates to remain competitive within the evolving game environment.
The card design features artwork central to the Dimension Dice mechanics, which are tied to the playstyle of the character Syrus Truesdale from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. As a Quick-Play Spell card, it reflects Konami's design philosophy of adding interactive, utility-driven support that allows players to bridge the gap between dice-rolling mechanics and monster summoning. Its Ultra Rare status in this set distinguishes it through a signature glossy finish, making it a sought-after piece for players who focus on thematic deck building or the collection of GX-inspired cards.
