Provenance

Where it came from

Divine Punishment is a Counter Trap card originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game to support the The Agent archetype. The card was designed to negate the activation of various game effects by sending a Fairy-type monster from the player's hand to the Graveyard, reflecting the theme of divine retribution often associated with celestial-themed decks within the game's lore.

The OTS Tournament Pack 7 iteration, numbered OP07-EN010, was released as a promotional Super Rare in 2018. These packs are distributed exclusively through Official Tournament Stores to reward participants of sanctioned events, making them a staple of organized play rather than traditional retail booster sets. This specific printing features a distinct glossy foil finish, sought after by players looking to upgrade the aesthetic of their competitive decks.
