Divine Wrath

Divine Wrath was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a core counter-trap card designed to disrupt opponent strategies by negating monster effects. The Duel Terminal 4 release of this card, numbered DT04-EN050, features the distinct parallel-style holographic finish synonymous with the Duel Terminal arcade machine integration, which encouraged players to scan physical cards to summon digital counterparts in a specialized arcade environment.

The card's design centers on a dynamic illustration depicting a powerful celestial smiting, emphasizing its role as a high-stakes, reactive tool in a player's backrow. Its reception among the competitive community has remained consistently high throughout its history, as its ability to trade itself for the activation of an opponent's monster effect provides a reliable, albeit costly, defensive option that has seen play across multiple eras of the game's evolving meta.
