Provenance

Where it came from

Dragon's Fighting Spirit was released in the 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack: Gold Edition. This set was designed to tie into the theatrical release of the film, which focused on the lingering rivalry between Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba. The card serves as a thematic homage to the high-stakes, aggressive dueling style favored by Kaiba, specifically designed to support Dragon-type monsters.

The artwork and mechanics of this spell card reflect the intense aesthetic of the film, utilizing the Gold Secret Rare foiling characteristic of this specific collector's set. It was received as a niche utility card within the trading card game, appreciated primarily by players building Dragon-focused decks who valued its ability to provide multiple attacks in a single turn, thereby echoing the dramatic flair of the movie's climactic duels.
