Where it came from
Dragon's Fighting Spirit was released as part of the 2016 The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack, a special expansion designed to coincide with the theatrical debut of the film of the same name. This set was created to showcase cards used by the central characters during the movie’s high-stakes duels, specifically catering to fans looking to recreate iconic moments from the franchise's cinematic revival.
The card features an illustration depicting a formidable dragon, aligning with the aggressive, combat-focused themes often associated with the series' signature monsters. As a spell card designed to support dragon-type archetypes, it was crafted with gameplay mechanics intended to capitalize on multiple monster attacks, reflecting the intense and fast-paced aesthetic that defines the modern Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.
