Earthbound Linewalker

Earthbound Linewalker was introduced in the 2010 Absolute Powerforce expansion set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It was released during the 5D's era of the game, a period heavily influenced by the lore of the Dark Signers and their powerful Earthbound Immortal monsters. The card was designed to provide utility and support for decks centered around these colossal entities, specifically by protecting them from the trap cards that were frequently used to disrupt them at the time.

The card features artwork consistent with the series' signature dramatic, dark aesthetic, depicting an ominous, shadowy figure suited to the theme of the Earthbound Immortal archetype. As a Secret Rare, the card was produced with the distinct diagonal foil etching synonymous with high-rarity cards of the era. It was received by players as a niche technical card, valued by fans of the anime-inspired decks for its ability to neutralize backrow threats while maintaining the intimidating presence required by the Earthbound theme.
