Enraged Muka Muka

Enraged Muka Muka was released in the 2023 Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City box set. This product was designed to bring the streamlined, fast-paced rules of the Speed Duel format to the iconic aesthetics and card pools associated with the original Battle City story arc. The card itself is a direct reprint of the classic Muka Muka monster, which has served as a staple for deck builders interested in hand-size manipulation mechanics since the early days of the game.

The original Muka Muka design centers on the concept of 'scaling'—where the monster’s attack and defense increase based on the number of cards in the player's hand. This specific iteration in the Speed Duel format preserves the legacy of the original monster's ability while fitting into a localized, restricted card pool. It is celebrated by players for its ability to punish opponents who cannot quickly dismantle a growing board state, remaining a nostalgic choice for those revisiting the early iterations of the card game's history.
