Enraged Muka Muka

The Enraged Muka Muka was introduced in the Soul of the Duelist expansion set, released in North America in 2004. As an effect monster, it serves as an evolved iteration of the original Muka Muka card, reflecting the design philosophy of the era where Konami frequently revisited and upgraded established low-level monsters to maintain relevance within the evolving game mechanics of Yu-Gi-Oh!.

The artwork follows the characteristic aesthetic of the series' early mechanical and reptilian designs, emphasizing a more aggressive, combat-oriented stance compared to its predecessor. While common in rarity, the card was notable for its specific mechanical reliance on the player's hand size, a design trope that rewarded tactical resource management during a period when the game was shifting toward faster, more aggressive play styles.
