Evil Mind

Evil Mind was released in the Legendary Duelists: Season 3 set, which debuted in the summer of 2022. This collection was designed to compile and reprint cards themed around specific characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, specifically focusing on the protagonists and villains featured in the GX and 5D's eras. The card functions as a support piece for the Destiny HERO archetype, a deck style associated with the character Aster Phoenix, emphasizing the darker, more tactical side of the competitive card game.

The card's design features artwork reminiscent of the high-stakes, dramatic visual style common in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game's character-based sets. By allowing a player to add a Destiny HERO monster from their deck to their hand based on the number of cards in their opponent's graveyard, it reinforces the archetype's reliance on graveyard manipulation and resource management. It was released as a common card to ensure accessibility for players looking to complete their Destiny HERO themed decks during the set's cycle.
