Evilswarm Coppelia

Evilswarm Coppelia was released in the 2013 booster set Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars. This set was designed to consolidate the various storylines of the Duel Terminal arcade machine series for the Western market, specifically focusing on the struggle between the corrupted 'Evilswarm' faction and the 'lswarm' forces. The design of the monster reflects the dark, biomechanical aesthetic synonymous with the Evilswarm archetype, which reinterprets previous monster characters through a lens of technological decay and malevolent possession.

The card was illustrated with a focus on eerie, puppet-like aesthetics, consistent with the thematic naming of the monster. As a Super Rare card within the Hidden Arsenal series, it was distributed via the TCG’s specialty high-rarity foil format for that block. While the Evilswarm archetype gained significant competitive notoriety during this era due to the success of monsters like Evilswarm Ophion, Coppelia served as a niche utility piece for players looking to explore the deck's specific graveyard manipulation mechanics.
