Evilswarm Ketos

Evilswarm Ketos was introduced in the Duel Terminal 7a booster set, representing the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game's integration with the arcade-based Duel Terminal system. As part of the Evilswarm archetype, this card reflects the dark, corrupted iteration of the earlier Steelswarm and Mist Valley monsters, reimagined with a sinister, infested aesthetic during the war-torn lore of the Duel Terminal storyline.

The card's design features an aggressive, mechanical creature influenced by oceanic motifs, aligning with the archetype's thematic focus on overwhelming the field through high-level special summoning and disruption. Upon release, it was regarded as a specialized tool for its ability to clear spell and trap cards, serving as a tactical asset for duelists building aggressive anti-meta decks during that era of the game's competitive cycle.
