Extra Buck

The Extra Buck trap card was introduced in the 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, a compilation set designed by Konami to provide players with reprints of cards that had previously appeared in booster sets released throughout the prior year. This specific card originated from the 2015 Clash of Rebellions set, which introduced the Performapal and Magician archetypes to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Extra Buck was crafted as a situational utility card meant to reward players for managing specific Pendulum monster interactions.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Pendulum era, characterized by colorful, high-energy designs that reflected the game's shift toward faster, combo-heavy gameplay. While the card is categorized as a Rare, it is largely considered a niche tool within the competitive landscape of the time. Its design intended to offer a specialized form of draw power, though it remained a secondary option for most players compared to more versatile staples available within the Mega-Tin environment.
