Balance of Judgment

Balance of Judgment was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Clash of Rebellions core set in 2015. The card was designed to reward players for maintaining a defensive board state, reflecting a shift in game mechanics that encouraged strategic resource management rather than aggressive field swarming. Its illustration depicts a stoic, armored figure holding a scale, visually reinforcing the card's function of balancing the number of cards on the field.

The 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, which included this reprint, was curated to provide players with accessible versions of prominent cards from the previous year’s competitive cycle. As a common rarity in this set, Balance of Judgment became widely available to players who had not acquired it during its initial run. While it did not dominate the top-tier competitive scene, it remained a distinct example of the trap card variety that emerged during the Arc-V era of the game.
