Final Destiny

Final Destiny was released as part of the Spell Ruler expansion in 2002, the third core booster set in the English-language Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Designed by Konami and based on the original Japanese OCG release, the set was pivotal for introducing Ritual Monsters and Quick-Play Spell cards to the game, significantly broadening the strategic complexity available to players at the time.

The card features an illustration depicting a dramatic, cataclysmic event, fitting the high-stakes theme of the early expansion era. Mechanically, the card was designed as a high-cost board wipe, requiring a player to discard their entire hand to destroy all cards on the field. While its steep resource requirement limited its competitive viability, it remains a notable example of the early game's experimental approach to powerful but restrictive card effects.
