Snatch Steal

Snatch Steal was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2002 as part of the Spell Ruler expansion, the third main booster set released in the English-language market. The card functions as an equip spell that allows a player to take control of an opponent's monster, providing a significant tactical advantage by both depleting the opponent's field and bolstering one's own offensive capabilities. Its original Japanese counterpart appeared in the Magic Ruler set, reflecting the game's early focus on potent magic cards that could rapidly shift the momentum of a duel.

The card's design features an illustration of a mechanical claw grasping at a glowing orb, a visual motif intended to represent the act of seizing an asset from the opponent.
