Frightfur March

Frightfur March was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, which served as a compilation set featuring cards originally released in the Clash of Rebellions and Dimension of Chaos booster sets. Designed to support the Fluffal and Frightfur archetypes, the card reflects the macabre, toy-themed aesthetic characteristic of the Fluffal engine. It functions as a counter-trap intended to provide defensive utility by negating effects that target Frightfur monsters, leaning into the high-risk, high-reward playstyle of Sora Perse from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime.

The card’s artwork continues the unsettling visual narrative of the Frightfur series, where innocent stuffed animals are reimagined as patchwork monstrosities. Released as a common rarity, it was intended to be an accessible tool for players looking to bolster their decks with specific anti-targeting support. While it did not shift the competitive meta, it remains a notable piece for collectors focused on the thematic evolution of the Frightfur archetype during the mid-2010s era of the game.
