Galaxy Worm

The Galaxy Worm was originally introduced as a common card in the 2018 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, a compilation set designed by Konami to reprint high-value cards from the previous year’s main sets, such as Code of the Duelist and Circuit Break. This card serves as an effect monster within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, utilizing the archetype’s recurring theme of space-faring creatures and futuristic design elements that define the Galaxy and Photon categories.

The card features an illustration intended to evoke a cosmic, alien aesthetic consistent with the series' expansion into high-concept science fiction motifs. As a common rarity release, it was intended to provide players with accessible utility, allowing for efficient special summoning within decks focused on rank-three or light-attribute strategies. Like many cards in the Mega-Tin series, its inclusion was driven by the functional necessity of providing players with affordable access to support cards that bridge broader mechanical synergies.
