Glorious Illusion

Glorious Illusion was introduced in the 2008 set Light of Destruction, a pivotal expansion in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that significantly shifted the competitive landscape. The set is perhaps best known for introducing the Lightsworn archetype, which favored mill-based strategies. As a Normal Trap card, Glorious Illusion functioned as a specialized revival tool, allowing players to Special Summon a monster from their Graveyard by discarding a card, a tactical utility that reflected the game's ongoing emphasis on graveyard manipulation during the Synchro Era.
