GMX Chairman Kimridge

GMX Chairman Kimridge was introduced in the Burst Protocol expansion set, released as part of the broader GMX trading card game line. The set was designed to introduce corporate-themed archetypes and resource-management mechanics to the game, reflecting a shift toward complex control-oriented play styles. As a common rarity card, it served as a foundational piece for players building deck strategies centered around the set's unique economy-based card effects.

The visual design for the card focuses on the clinical, high-tech aesthetic prevalent in Burst Protocol, depicting the titular character in a boardroom setting that aligns with the game's lore of futuristic conglomerates. While the artist for this specific illustration is not publicly credited, the design team at the time aimed to emphasize the character's administrative status, positioning the monster as a logistical engine within the GMX meta-game rather than a direct combatant.
