GMX Chairman Kimridge

GMX Chairman Kimridge was introduced in the Magnificent Maestros booster set, reflecting a thematic shift toward corporate and high-society archetypes within the game's evolving meta. The card was designed to anchor the set's narrative of influence and control, placing the Chairman as a central figure who manipulates the flow of the board. The aesthetic relies on sharp, angular lines and a muted, professional color palette, intended to convey the stoic and calculating nature of a business magnate.

Upon its release, the card received moderate attention for its technical utility as an effect-monster, particularly among players who favor control-oriented deck strategies. While not considered an essential staple in competitive play, it is widely recognized by enthusiasts for its distinct ultra-rare holographic treatment, which highlights the intricate detailing of the character's suit and the subtle, metallic sheen of the background graphics. It remains a notable piece for those collecting cards that emphasize thematic character design over purely aggressive combat stats.
