Green Ninja

Green Ninja debuted in the 2023 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG expansion Photon Hypernova. The card is part of the long-standing Ninja archetype, a series of cards known for their synergistic ability to cycle through Ninjitsu Art support cards to manipulate the field. The inclusion of this card provided players with a reliable way to facilitate plays by flipping face-up and setting itself or other Ninjas, maintaining the tactical, control-oriented identity that the archetype has cultivated since its introduction in the early 2010s.

The visual design of Green Ninja aligns with the aesthetic language established by the Hidden Arsenal and subsequent core sets that feature the Ninja characters. The illustration emphasizes a nimble, stealth-focused warrior, reflecting the card's function as a utility piece that maneuvers between face-up and face-down positions. As a Super Rare card, it was received by players as a functional addition to dedicated Ninja decks, valued primarily for its specific interaction with the broader Ninja support engine rather than as a standalone centerpiece.
