Halfway to Forever

Halfway to Forever was released in 2017 as part of the Duelist Saga set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set was designed as an all-foil collection intended to commemorate the history of the game by featuring iconic cards from the various animated series, alongside a selection of previously unreleased cards that had appeared in the show. The set utilized a distinctive ultra-rare treatment, setting it apart from standard booster expansions of the era.

The card itself originates from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V series, where it was utilized by characters in the context of the high-stakes dueling environment typical of the franchise. Its design focuses on resource management and graveyard recovery, reflecting the tactical complexity introduced during that generation of the game. Like many cards in the Duelist Saga, it was received primarily as a collector's piece for fans of the show's aesthetic and narrative history rather than a staple for competitive tournament play.
