Herald of Creation

Herald of Creation was introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 2-Player Starter Deck: Yuya & Declan, released in 2015. This starter set was specifically designed to introduce players to the Pendulum Summoning mechanic featured in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V animated series. It served as a bridge for new players, offering a curated selection of cards that provided a balanced experience between the two featured characters' playstyles.

The card itself features a design aesthetic consistent with the 'Herald' sub-series, characterized by celestial and divine imagery often associated with high-level effect monsters. Mechanically, the card was intended to support decks centered around high-level monsters by allowing the player to discard a card to add a higher-level monster from the graveyard to the hand. While common in rarity and widely distributed through this starter deck, it remains a recognized functional piece for collectors interested in the ARC-V era of the game.
