Infernoid Patrulea

Infernoid Patrulea debuted within the Secret of Evolution booster set before being included as part of the 2015 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. Designed for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, this card belongs to the Infernoid archetype, a group of Fire-attribute Fiend monsters characterized by their ability to banish other Infernoid cards from the graveyard to special summon themselves. This graveyard-reliant mechanic was created to challenge traditional resource management strategies, requiring players to carefully balance their summoning costs against the need to maintain a presence in the discard pile.

The visual design of the Infernoid monsters draws heavily from the imagery of biomechanical demons and infernal machines, reflecting a narrative theme of ancient, destructive entities reawakened. As a Rare-rarity inclusion in the 2015 Mega-Tin, Patrulea was intended to provide players with accessible removal utility, specifically targeting back-row threats. The card was well-received by competitive players for its tactical flexibility, solidifying its place in the history of the archetype as a reliable tool for disrupting an opponent's field.
