Infernoid Patrulea

Infernoid Patrulea was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Secret of Evolution set, later seeing a re-release in OTS Tournament Pack 1 as a Super Rare variant. The Infernoid archetype, to which this monster belongs, was designed to introduce a high-risk, high-reward graveyard management mechanic, reflecting a thematic shift toward resource manipulation and self-banishing costs that defined the game's evolving meta-strategy during that era.

The card features artwork consistent with the archetype's visceral, biomechanical aesthetic, characterized by dark color palettes and aggressive, jagged creature designs meant to evoke an underworld theme. Released as part of the Official Tournament Store program, this specific printing provided competitive players with a more accessible, aesthetically distinct version of the monster, serving to bolster both the utility and the stylistic consistency of Infernoid-based decks in tournament play.
