Provenance

Where it came from

Infinite Cards was introduced in the Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City set, a product line designed to bring the streamlined and fast-paced mechanics of the Speed Duel format to iconic moments and characters from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. Released by Konami, the card is intended to capture the strategic versatility seen in the Battle City story arc, providing players with a utility-focused spell that aligns with the specialized card pools curated for these starter decks.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic established by Kazuki Takahashi for the original card game, utilizing the standard layout and iconography that defines the series. While the card is a common rarity, its inclusion in this specific set serves to provide players with tools to manage their hand size and deck composition, a recurring theme in the broader Yu-Gi-Oh! card game design philosophy aimed at balancing offense and resource management.
