Infinitrack Mountain Smasher

Infinitrack Mountain Smasher was introduced in the 2019 booster set The Infinity Chasers, which focused on introducing new archetypes centered around specific summoning mechanics. As an Xyz Monster, it belongs to the Infinitrack theme, a series of Earth-attribute Machine monsters designed with industrial, construction-vehicle motifs. The set was conceived to provide players with strategies that utilized the Graveyard as a resource, encouraging a playstyle that prioritized recycling and rank-up capabilities.

The design of the card reflects the heavy-duty mechanical aesthetic of the Infinitrack archetype, characterized by rugged, metallic components and industrial weaponry. Like other cards in the series, it was illustrated by the internal creative team at Konami to emphasize power and physical presence. Upon its release, it was well-received by players looking for aggressive, rank-oriented deck strategies, establishing itself as a staple component within its specific archetype's tactical repertoire.
