Insect Princess

Insect Princess was originally released in the 2003 expansion Magician's Force, capturing the tactical emphasis on insect-type monsters that defined the archetype's early support. It was designed as a high-level boss monster for Insect decks, featuring an effect that forces opposing insect monsters into attack position and provides a modest attack boost for every insect monster on the field. The card serves as a thematic centerpiece for duelists focusing on swarm-based control strategies.

The version included in the 2020 Speed Duel Starter Decks: Ultimate Predators was reprinted to accommodate the streamlined Speed Duel format. The design retains the original artwork featuring a regal, anthropomorphic insectoid figure, which reflects the classic aesthetic of early 2000s Yu-Gi-Oh! monster design. Its inclusion in this specific starter deck was intended to provide novice players with a clear win condition centered around board manipulation and damage output.
