Karate Man

Karate Man was released in Tournament Pack 4 in 2003, a promotional set distributed primarily through official Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament events. During this era, Tournament Packs were essential for supporting the game's competitive infrastructure, providing players with access to staple cards and unique reprints that were not otherwise available in standard booster sets.

The card features an effect that allows it to double its attack during a single turn, albeit at the cost of being destroyed during the end phase. Designed as a common, it reflects the early design philosophy of the game, which favored simple, high-risk mechanical interactions. Its aesthetic, centered on traditional martial arts themes, is consistent with the early monster archetypes developed by Konami that focused on direct combat and basic ability scaling.
